This page is how I pay hosting costs, etc. for yaywastaken --- it's a combination of affiliate links and ads. I do try to make it useful and non-annoying, with varying degrees of success. Most people add their "other" homepage (like my.yahoo.com) to the top of their favorites box on the left, and click through from there. Come on, is it really that bad? Well then...
